Get your week started by joining us for a refreshing stroll as one of our Adult Reference Librarians leads the group on a one mile (approx.) journey around town. You can join us and chat with a friend or stranger, or bring your headphones and listen to your favorite music, podcast, or audiobook. Please wear appropriate footwear, as we may experience uneven pavement or other obstacles along the way. Don't forget water! Registration is required, registrants will be notified of cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Participants who attend every session in this series will receive an award at our final walk in June. Registration required and open to all.

Building History: Halsey House Tour

Explore 400 years of history at Halsey House through its architecture and design. Join us to trace the evolution of Halsey House across four centuries. Discover its beginnings as a 17th-century homestead, remodeling into a 18th-century village residence, and later transformation into a Gilded Age guest house. Explore the building's extensive restoration by the Southampton History Museum in the 1950s with the help of Henry Francis du Pont (founder of the Winterthur Museum). Learn about the museum's ongoing work to protect and preserve this important historic treasure for generations to come
